TWELVE OXEN WITH 4 DIRECTIONS
By reading this passage I began to think about oxens, jobs, and direction.
- The Oxen speak to me about having strength in your job. Fields in which to sow and reap.
- Twelve oxen in four different directions. I see a group of three oxen looking towards every cardinal point, covering all around.
- The camp. The oxen were used to work the camp.
The camp represents our city, in which we work, taking the gospel to the four cardinal points, all over our city.
Let’s take the Connection Groups to every corner of Las Vegas!
Let’s have strength like oxen and do the work of bringing the good news, healing the sick, and setting captives free.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, (Lucas 4:18).
It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.(2 Chronicles 4:4 NLT)
Think about it:
How are you bringing the gospel to people in the midst of the crisis?
Have you invited more family and friends to join the Connection Groups?
Do you know someone who might be going through needs whom you could call, pray for, and bless?
