When God blesses you it’s eternal

WHEN GOD BLESSES YOU IT’S ETERNAL

And now, it has pleased you to bless the house of your servant, so that it will continue forever before you. For when you grant a blessing, O Lord, it is an eternal blessing! (1 Chronicles 17:27 NLT)

When the BLESSING of God rests on a person or a family, it remains forever.
The devil can’t steal the Lord’s blessing for my life and for my descendants. My enemies can’t take away the blessing that God has declared over me.

..For when you grant a blessing, O Lord, it is an eternal blessing!”! (1 Chronicles
17:27 NLT)

But I can lose it if I consciously and deliberately choose to abandon God and commit sins of rebellion against God.

Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.
(1 Sam. 15:23 NLT)

In Saul’s case we see that God’s original desire was that he and his family would reign forever, but Saul spoiled it.

And Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to someone else—one who is better than you.. (1 Sam. 15:28 NLT)

Lord help me to stay “blessed”, so that YOUR BLESSING rests on me all my life and on all my descendants until the day of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

..For when you grant a blessing, O Lord, it is an eternal blessing!”! (1 Chro.17:27 NLT)
