Until nothing else could be done

UNTIL NOTHING ELSE COULD BE DONE

But the people mocked these messengers of God and despised their words. They scoffed at the prophets until the Lord’s anger could no longer be restrained and nothing could be done. (2 Chronicles 36:16 NLT)

Many times God is warning us of the consequences that human beings would have if we continue certain behaviors, but we ignore it.

When we insist on sticking to our bad habits there comes a point where nothing else can be done.

We cling to our old ways of thinking, weaknesses of temperament, and destructive thoughts to the point where families, jobs, ministries, privileges, and even the anointing are lost, just like in Samson’s case.

And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” So he awoke from his sleep, and said, “I will go out as before, at other times, and shake myself free!” But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him. (Judges 16:20 NKJV)

Think about it:

Have you ignored God’s warnings?
What bad habits or ways of thinking have you clung to?
What have you lost because of that?
