Yesterday we learned that this verse reminds us of our dependence on God, but also:
2.- It reminds me of the pride of the human heart.
It’s a mistake to fill ourselves with pride and arrogance thinking that we are all powerful and that we don’t need God.
The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? 10 But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives.I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.
Lord I acknowledge that
-What I am, you made me.
-What I have, you gave it to me.
-Where I am, you brought me.
-Where I go, you are the one who takes me.
Who has given me anything that I need to pay back?

Think about it:
Are you one of those who believe that you don’t need anyone?
Is what you have achieved on your own merits or is it thanks to God?
Why do you think it’s important to depend on God for everything?
