I don’t want to be rocky soil

I DON’T WANT TO BE ROCKY SOIL

The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But… (Mark 4:16 NLT)

In these times it is being seen what type of soil each of us is on which the Word of God has been sown.

Some people showed happiness when they were in church, but they only had a superficial relationship with God. Now that the problems and pressure of this crisis have arrived, the fact that they didn’t have deep roots is manifesting, that they didn’t have strong convictions. They are drying up in the heat of hardship.

The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall. (Mark 4:16-17 NLT)

But there are others who have revealed that they have always been good soil and continue to bear fruit, serving God through serving people. They continue to practice the six habits of the successful disciple. They continue to bear fruit in their family, social and financial spiritual life.

And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” ». (Mark 4:20 NLT)

Think about it:

What type of soil are you?
Have you strayed from God’s purpose because of problems or have you continued to bear fruit in all areas of your life despite the crisis?
Do you continue to practice the habits of a successful disciple and serving God in some way?
