The urgency of caring for our brain

THE URGENCY OF CARING FOR OUR BRAIN

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.(1 Peter 5:7 NLT)

What can we do to maintain our mental health and not explode? This crisis is causing many people to break: married couples, youth, single adults, etc. because there is so much insecurity in the homes, and since the parents are insecure, the children are insecure; when a wife is insecure, the husband is insecure; that’s why there is chaos, and if one collapses, they all collapse.

What can we do?

  • Surround yourself with positive people.  Join a Connection Group. Loneliness is not good. Don’t surround yourself with toxic people, because if we give them permission, they can poison our minds and make our hearts sick.
  • Do something that relaxes you to take care of your mental health. Go to the mountains for a walk, exercise, read a book, share with your family. Make healthy habits that help refresh your mind.
  • Place all your worries in God’s hands. If God takes care of the birds, how much more will He take care of us? Something that can help us are the six habits of the successful disciple. Pray, read the Bible (His promises), write your devotional, congregate, serve and be generous.

You have to take care of your emotional and mental health so that you can take care of your family. You can’t give up or explode. Cast all your anxieties on God. Do all that is good for you so that you can stay mentally healthy. Do your part and strive for the good of your home. Don’t let the devil capture your brain or your heart.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:7-8 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you had worries and anxieties?
What is the most common anxiety you have observed in this time?
In what ways do you relax?
