What customs will we leave?

WHAT CUSTOMS WILL WE LEAVE?

The custom of having choir directors to lead the choirs in hymns of praise and thanksgiving to God began long ago in the days of David and Asaph. (Nehemiah 12:46 NLT)

David began this custom of singing with all the people giving thanks t0 God.

Nowadays, some families pass down negative customs of celebrating holidays at home and in party banquets with alcohol, gatherings where all kinds of immorality and violence take place.

Other families hand down education customs and encourage their children to graduate from college.

Some families pass down customs of atheism, while others of love and service to God and people.

There are families that hand down customs of being stingy and envious people, but others practice generosity.

Some families leave legacies of failure, vices, violence, atheism, divorces, witchcraft, etc. Dinora and I want to leave a legacy of success in spiritual, family, social and financial life.

King David started the custom of songs of gratitude with the people.
I want to leave the “habit” of the six habits of the successful disciple (Prayer, Bible, devotionals, congregate, serve, generosity)

Think about it:

What customs are you starting?
What kind of legacy do you want to leave in your children and future generations?
Are you being a successful disciple to be an example for your children?
