REJOICE
So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.1 Peter 1:6-7 NLT
Surely many people are going through difficult situations at this time, but we must strive to keep trusting God, because just as this Word says, tests are only for a short time, they aren’t forever!
Let’s not lose faith, or joy. Let’s stand firm in the midst of trials to give God the glory, for immense joy awaits us when Jesus Christ comes once again .
Joy, more than a temporary happiness due to the good circumstances of the moment, is a permanent happiness that doesn’t depend on external circumstances, but rather comes through faith in God and through the fruits of His Holy Spirit.
Therefore, Let’s rejoice! For the Lord’s Joy is our strength!
…Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” (Nehemiah 8:10)

Have you allowed crisis to steal your joy or have you remained joyful and trusting in God?
What reasons do you have for living joyfully even in the midst of this situation?
How have you been strengthened in God?
