When I urged Titus to visit you and sent our other brother with him, did Titus take advantage of you? No! For we have the same spirit and walk in each other’s steps, doing things the same way. (2 Corinthians 12:18 NLT)
In order to form these types of leaders that do things as Titus and Apostle Paul it ‘s not enough to just teach techniques but we need to help them transform their character.
We need to help them have:
–Vision
–Mission
–Values.
We need to:
–Teach.
–Model. (I do, you see; I do, you help me, You do, I help you and then you do and I see).
– Equip and train.
– Motivate.
– Correct.
You need to motivate them but as well correct the bad conduct or attitude. You need to teach them the consequences of sin and the rewards of doing what ‘s good.
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. (1 Timothy 4:12 NLT)
Think about it:
Are you being of example to those you wish to multiply yourself in?
How are you training and equipping them?
Why do you think it’s important to correct their attitude or conduct?
