Do people that don’t grow frustrate you?

DO PEOPLE THAT DON’T GROW FRUSTRATE YOU?

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6 KJV)

Sometimes we might feel frustrated with the people that we have taught but seem to not grow.

A reminder for our leaders: God is the one that gives the growth.
Some of us sow, others spread; but God is the one that gives growth.

  • Give the best of yourself to people.

Do not become bitterto the point of not wanting to help others because of those that have made you waste your time in the past.

  • Have a healthy balance between the stubborn and the wise.

Do not allow those that do not want to grow consume your resources.
Invest your eighty percent in those twenty percent that have the attitude of wanting to grow.

  • Surrender all people to God.

Remember that it is not you, but it is God that started and will complete the work in them.
Remember that nothing that you have invested in people is in vain.

We are all under construction and we must trust God that He will complete the work that He started.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6 NLT)

Think about it:

Have y0u felt frustrated because you have not seen the fruit of your efforts in your disciples?
Are you investing your resources in people that do not want to grow? or in the ones that do want to grow?
What do you think is your part?  what is God’s part in the growth of the people that He has entrusted you with?
