Fight against your true enemy

FIGHT AGAINST YOUR TRUE ENEMY

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.(Ephesians 6:12 NLT)

When we have problems our level of stress increases and we tend to let out or anger and frustration with the people that are around us.
This is a difficult time in all of society. We have all been affected by COVID-19.

We must have 3 things present:

1. Our battle is not against the people that we love.
Let us not take out our anger or sadness in our marriage or with our children, nor with our coworkers at work, school or in church
2. Our battle is spiritual.
3. Our weapons are spiritual.
If our true enemy is not a human being, then our weapons should not be man made.
If our true enemy is spiritual, that means that our weapons must be spiritual. Therefore, our best weapon is prayer, declaring the Word of God.

We are human, but we do not wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.(2 Cor. 10:3-5 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you felt frustrated because of the pandemic?
Had you been taking out your frustration on your family?
Have you been using the spiritual weapons (prayer) to combat the stress and frustration?
