AS SOON AS THEY LANDED
Some people follow Jesus quickly, and others are slower to respond to the call.
There are people who think too much on whether to serve God on this earth. It’s difficult for them to leave their comfort, their tastes, their old customs and traditions.
But there are other types of people who are like Peter.
1. The “Peter” leaders are decisive.
These types of people quickly let go of what is hindering them to move forward, they are radical and abandon old harmful habits and adopt a new lifestyle. They don’t play with sin. They are moved by the dream of God, by the macro love story of God and people.
2. The “Peters” serve God quickly, despite fear.
They decide to live for a cause bigger than themselves.
They are the ones that remain in history as examples to follow.
Think about it:
Did you accept God’s call quickly or are you still thinking about it?
What radical changes have you made by following Jesus?
What bad habits have gotten in the way of God’s calling?
Are you passionate about serving God through serving people?
