EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS
»“His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. (Luke 15:31 NLT)
What a powerful scene!
A father tells his son that he can have everything in their home. This father says that everything he has obtained through years of work and dedication also belongs to his son. God, if you are my father, then, do I also have access to all you have?
I observe two things:
On one hand, Jesus had said “APART from me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
But on the other hand it says:
»»“His father said to him, ‘Look, dear son, YOU HAVE always STAYED BY ME, and everything I have is yours. (Luke 15:31 NLT) S
I find that the key to have access to what my Father has is to: Be close to Him, have fellowship with Him, do His will and fulfill His purpose.
Think about it:
Out of all that God has, what would you like to have access to?
Have you parted from God in this time of pandemic or have you stayed with Him?
Have you remained within God’s will and fulfilling His purpose?
