Silly for some

SILLY FOR SOME

MOTIVATION TO JUMP FOR OTHERS

But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn’t believe it.  However, Peter jumped up and ran to the tomb to look.. (Luke 24:11-12 NLT)

Things that some consider silly, others take seriously and use them to jump, run and progress.

Peter had the revelation of who Jesus Christ was, therefore, it didn’t seem out of the ordinary to him that Jesus had risen. Miracles weren’t strange to him because he was familiar with the supernatural power of God.

Nowadays, there are people who make fun of Christians, miracles or what we do as a church, how to tithe, pray, serve others or pray for the sick. This is because they don’t understand it.

However, others have the revelation of the supernatural power of God and their faith is activated, they live differently, they can see by faith miracles, God’s intervention in family problems, in legal cases resolved in their favor, etc.

They believe that there is nothing impossible for God.

They believe that God will help in the restoration of a son who was lost in bad habits, they believe that God will provide the means to graduate from college, they are sure that God will give the wisdom and strategies to progress in their own company, etc.

But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn’t believe it.  However, Peter jumped up and ran to the tomb to look.. (Luke 24:11-12 NLT)

Think about it:

Do we jump and run, or do we think it’s nonsense?

In what situation have you seen the supernatural power of God manifest in your life?

What miracle are you already seeing by faith done in your life?
