Fallen world due to sin

FALLEN WORLD DUE TO SIN

By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:19 NLT)

Many times, I have wondered why is there so much evil in the world? Why can’t we live in peace? Why do we suffer so much?
And I see that the answer is complicated, but also simple:
At first everything was good, but the world was affected by sin. Now we live in something that in the churches is known as a “fallen” world. That means, nothing is perfect, everything is “fallen”. We human beings are imperfect, family relationships, religion, politics, the arts, health, etc. These things were damaged by sin and are now imperfect.

Let’s look at a brief summary of the facts:
1. The earth is cursed by sin.
2. Human beings must fight all their lives. And to the man he said, “Since you listened to your wife and ate from the tree whose fruit, I commanded you not to eat, the ground is cursed because of you. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it. (Gen. 3:17)
3. We will eat, but life will bring thorns (problems). It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains. (Gen. 3:18)
4. We will have to work and sweat all our lives.  By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. (Gen. 3:19a)
5. This body will return to dust one day. (Until we have a new body glorified in the resurrection of the dead in Christ.)  … For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return.” (Gen. 3:19b)
6. One day we will live in a new world that will no longer be   We human beings will no longer be defective, there will be no more tears, no diseases, no death… (Read Revelation 21:1-7)

Think:
What questions did you ask yourself?
Are you waiting for that new world?
Will you be one of the overcomers who stand firm to the end?
