I will protect you and reward you

I WILL PROTECT YOU AND REWARD YOU

Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.” (Genesis 15:1 NLT)

In the midst of all this pandemic, it refreshes me to read these promises from God.Just as he promised Abraham in the past, so today he is still good to us.

1. He told him to not be afraid. Some time later, the Lord spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid(Gen. 15:1 NLT)
I shouldn’t be afraid in these uncertain and changing times due to the covid crisis.
I can be sure that God will care for me again (Read Psalms 23:1)

2. God promised Him protection. for I will protect you, …… (Gen. 15:1 NLT)
God has kept me and my family, and I am sure that He will continue to do so. No plague will touch my family.

3. There is great reward. and your reward will be great. (Gen. 15:1 NLT)
God promised a great reward for those of us who maintain faithful until the end. final. So let’s keep practicing the habits of the successful disciple:
-Keep praying
-Keep reading the bible
-Keep writing devotionals.
-Keep congregating
-Keep serving God by serving people.
-Keep being generous with tithes and offerings.

This pandemic will pass, and those of us who have continued praying, serving, and tithing we can be sure that we will harvest great rewards.

Tell the godly that all will be well for them.
They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned! (Isaiah 3:10 NLT)

Think about it:
How has God taken care of you?
Have you stayed true to God by being a successful disciple?
What reward do you expect from God?
