GOD PUTS EVERY PERSON IN THEIR NICHE
Jesus distributes ministries as He wills and to whom He wills.
He left John in charge of taking care of his mother. The loving apostle would take her home and he would be ideal to take care of a mother who would go through a grieving process with a void in her heart and who would surely occupy company, who would be better than someone patient and understanding like John. (Read John 19:26-27)
He gave Peter the care of his Church. Which would benefit from Peter’s leadership. He was better equipped for organization, supervision, travel, conflict resolution, etc.
Key Lessons:
1. We should not be jealous of others.
2. We must not compare ourselves to anyone. We are all valuable.
3. We must not compete, but team up with others to achieve something greater than yourself. You are just too small to do big things.
4. Be grateful to God for what He has entrusted to us, and in that area be faithful, loyal, fruitful, enjoy it and make a difference in our world.
Think About It:
What assignment has God given you?
Why do you think it is unhealthy to compare yourself to others?
Why do you think bigger things are achieved when working as a team?
