I must live with care and alertness – Part 2

I MUST LIVE WITH CARE AND ALERTNESS
Part 2

“These are your instructions for eating this meal: Be fully dressed, wear your sandals, and carry your walking stick in your hand. Eat the meal with urgency, for this is the Lord’s Passover. (Exodus or 12:11 NLT)

This passage tells me about at least two things:

1. We must be ready for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus returns and we must be clothed in holiness and the shoes of the gospel.
We cannot afford the luxury of playing and going to church on one hand and the other having a double life full of fraud, adultery, lies, etc.
We cannot be apart from God, our spiritual family or church to go back to destructive ways of living.

2. We must be alert, prepared to move with the new flow of God in these times.
Things have changed, including work, school and church.
We must be ready to adapt to not become obsolete in business, college, or our employment.

“These are your instructions for eating this meal: Be fully dressed, wear your sandals, and carry your walking stick in your hand. Eat the meal with urgency, for this is the Lord’s Passover. (Exodus or 12:11 NLT)

Think About It:

In this time have you stayed close or far away from God and your spiritual family?
Have you returned to old destructive habits?
What are you doing to keep moving in God’s new flow at this time and not become obsolete?
