The more they oppressed them

THE MORE THEY OPPRESSED THEM
THE MORE THEY MULTIPLIED

But the more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more the Israelites multiplied and spread, and the more alarmed the Egyptians became. (Exodus 1:12 NLT)

Life crises can bring out the worst or the best of human beings.
Here we see that God’s people continued to grow and multiply despite the oppression of Egypt’s slavery.
We must not allow difficulties to prevent us from continuing to extend our influence.

It comes to mind that the first church was also oppressed and persecuted after Jesus Christ died and was resurrected, but that same persecution caused the gospel of Christ to spread rapidly to other regions. (Acts)
The more the devil wants to quiet me, the more I am going to spread the gospel.
God will make all things work for good in our lives!

But the more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more the Israelites multiplied and spread, and the more alarmed the Egyptians became. (Exodus 1:12 NLT)

Think About It:

Has this crisis brought out the best or the worst in you?
How has God worked for good in your life during the crisis?
How have you kept expanding the gospel at this time?
