There is happiness in our niche

THERE IS HAPPINESS IN OUR NICHE

We don’t all have the same abilities, nor do we need to be experts in all things.

… Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. (Romans 12:3 NLT)

We will be effective and we will enjoy what we do when we learn to work on what God equipped us to do.
God created us with a specific purpose and the abilities we were born with were given by Him, and are ideal to fulfill with our purpose.
I will live with much joy if I am able to:
1. Understand the purpose for which I was born.
2. Discover my abilities and natural gifts. I don’t need to envy anyone. I am perfectly formed for the perfect purpose of my life.
3. Live in our niche, using the gifts that God gave me to fulfill the purpose He has  for my life.

And then, I will be the most successful and happy person in the world!

In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. (Romans 12:6-8 NLT)

Think about it:

Do you enjoy what you do in your job, ministry or profession?
What are the gifts and abilities that God has given you?
Where or in what way would you like to develop these gifts?
Do you know God’s purpose for your life?
