My yeast is influence

MY YEAST IS INFLUENCE

Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”(Matthew 13:33 NLT)

Yeast has the effect of fluffing or enlarging dough.
A small amount of yeast has the ability to “influence” a great quantity of dough. We could say that I have the same effect as yeast, in other words I can influence beyond myself.

This influence can be for good or for bad.
My words have influence, they are yeast that destroys or edifies the people that are in my circle of influence (my dough).

My attitude motivates or discourages those who are in my home, my job, my ministry, etc.
My actions influence for good or for bad, because they are seen by others who consider me as their leader, starting in my home with my wife and daughters, and also in the church, school, the team, etc.

Summary: I carry a yeast (an influence) and an anointing that I should use wisely for the good of others, to edify and not destroy, to bless and not curse, to add value to others, enrich others, bless others, etc.

Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”(Matthew 13:33 NLT)

Think about it:

Does your yeast (words) influence for good or for the bad of others?
Does your attitude at home motivate or discourage your family?
Are you wisely using the influence and anointing God has given you to edify and not destroy others?
