The church’s role in these times

THE CHURCH’S  ROLE IN THESE TIMES

Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick. That evening the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away so they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.” But Jesus said, “That isn’t necessary—you feed them.”(Matthew 14:15-16 NLT)

Jesus didn’t give them to eat by Himself, he involved his disciples. No pastor can take care of all the sheep alone. There is much need and we are all the church of Christ.

It’s a time where the strongest strengthen those who have been hit the hardest, or those who had less strengths, or those who had less time in the gospel.

Thanks to all those who despite their pain have continued helping Jesus feed others by :

-Bringing soup to the home of a sick person.
-Taking a pantry to the door of a family who had no work.
-Praying outside of a house or hospital
-Tithing so their church can continue doing the ministry.
-Etc.

We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak.. (Romans 15:1 NIV)

Think about it:
Do you know people who have gone astray in this time of pandemic?
Do you know someone going through a necessity?
How can you help them?
What do you think is your part to strengthen those who are weak?
