I DON’T NEED A DOCTORATE
TO HAVE COMMON SENSE

Let’s use common sense!

I saw some naive young men,
and one in particular who lacked common sense.(Proverbs 7:7 NLT)

-If we see something that isn’t ours, then it’s someone else’s.
-If my conscience reprimands me, it’s because something isn’t right.
-If I do something that’s good, but appears to be bad; then, it’s best to refrain from doing it.

-Common sense tells me when to speak and when to be silent.
-Common sense shows me that I shouldn’t do business with someone who is known as a cheater and fraud.
-Common sense alerts me that sex outside of marriage will bring a lot of pain.
-Common sense tells me not to go into debt. That I shouldn’t spend more money than I have.
-Common sense tells me which friends I should have and which ones don’t benefit me.

Lord, give me your wisdom to exercise common sense successfully.
I declare in the name of Jesus that I have the mind of Christ, that my name is related to wisdom, intelligence, knowledge and common sense.
I have a renewed mind, therefore, in every situation I discern what is the will of God, good, pleasant and perfect.

Think about it:

Do you use your common sense? Do you pay attention to your conscience?
What has using your common sense saved you from?
What consequences have you had for not using it?
