My mouth has power

MY MOUTH HAS POWER

Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech. (Proverbs 4:24 NLT)

What I express with my lips has power. That’s why I should be mindful of how I express myself. The mouth speaks what we have in our heart. The mouth can speak with expressions that can edify or destroy. Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. (Proverbs 4:23 NLT)

If I wake up and tell someone that I feel tired, depressed, rejected, angry; then my day will most likely be annoying and unproductive, and I will attract negative people. My mouth declared it and that’s what I’ll get.

On the other hand, I will have an excellent day by saying words like:
-“I’m so excited!”
– “I have a strong and resilient mind”,
– “My emotions are healthy and stable”,
– “My faith is strong and determined”,
-“I am excited about life!”,
-“I am living my best days!”
I feel that on this day people and resources assigned by God will come to me to help me fulfill my mission”.
-“The Lord will fulfill his purpose in me on this day”. (Psalm 138:8)

-“On this day, the helmet of salvation protects my thoughts from negativity and perversity; the truth will protect my integrity; justice will protect my reputation; the footwear of the gospel will direct my steps in the purpose of God; the shield of faith assures me of my future and my destiny; and the sword of the authority and dominion. (Eph. 6:17) Therefore, this day I will walk in victory, I will prosper, I will progress, I will be efficient, productive, and I will be a blessing to others”.

A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. (Luke 6:45 NLT)

Think about it:

What do you usually declare over your day every morning?
Do you usually destroy or edify others with your words?
What do you need to change in the way you speak?
