His moms was a prostitute but he was a leader

HIS MOMS WAS A PROSTITUTE BUT HE WAS A LEADER

Now Jephthah of Gilead was a great warrior. He was the son of Gilead, but his mother was a prostitute. (Judges 11:1 NLT)

It catches my attention how this man is remembered, with two main principles: The first one being that he was a great warrior leader, and the second that he was the son of a prostitute.

Jephthah became a governor, even though he was known as the son of a prostitute.
His past was not an obstacle for him to become a great leader, because his purpose was determined by God, not his earthly parents.

It’s exciting to think that you and I were born first for God’s purpose! and that He has a plan for our life that will be fulfilled despite the adverse circumstances that we have had to live in this world.

1. My success doesn’t depend on the wrong decisions of my ancestors. I can start a new generation.
2. My success isn’t ruined because my parents were alcoholics or divorced. God starts something new in me.
3. I wasn’t born by accident. He used my earthly parents, but I was born for God’s purpose.

The Lord will work out his plans for my life—. (Psalms 138:8)

Think about it:
Has the enemy tried to stop you from purpose because of your past?
Did you know that God has determined to give you success and that He has a purpose for you regardless of your parents’ mistakes?
What do you think is God’s purpose for your life?
