How to be free from the lack of forgiveness? Part 2

HOW TO BE FREE FROM THE LACK OF FORGIVENESS?
Part 2

Sensible people control their temper;
they earn respect by overlooking wrongs. (Prov. 19:11 NLT)

Unforgiveness will make you bitter, make your life miserable, rob you of joy, rob you of happy times with your family, and take away your sleep. That is why yesterday we learned two things that the Bible advises us to be free from unforgiveness:
One is to leave it to God, and another is to heal with his grace. Another thing that it advises us is:

3.Nail it to the cross. The Cross is a response from God for all of your needs. Jesus died so that you could be forgiven. He died so that you could be free from fear, from bitterness and resentment. There is no therapy, there are no pills, there is no psychology, there are no self-help seminars that can free you like the power of the cross.

The Bible says, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.” (Romans 6:6).

Don’t be a slave to the sin of unforgiveness! Release your feelings about the person who hurt you. Do it every day if you have to. No matter how many times you remember that painful scene, bring it to God, ask for his grace and then leave your pain on the Cross.

Think about it:

Do you want to be free from the lack of forgiveness?
Did you surrender all pain and resentment to Jesus?
Do you think that God’s grace can help you forgive?
