WORDS OF BLESSING CHANGE LIVES
AND LAST FOR GENERATIONS
Part 1
Then the elders and all the people standing in the gate replied, “We are witnesses! May the Lord make this woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, from whom all the nation of Israel descended! May you prosper in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem.
(Ruth 4:11 NLT)
(Ruth 4:11 NLT)
This blessing was given to Boaz by the elders of the city, when he was engaged to marry Ruth.
It impacts me that the blessing was also for his future wife Ruth.
1. The life of the widow Ruth would change radically, and she would go from being a widow without descendants, to being the great-grandmother of King David and therefore, part of the genealogy of Jesus Christ.
Wow, words of blessing impact generations!
… May the Lord make this woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, from whom all the nation of Israel descended! May you prosper in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem. (Ruth 4:11 NLT)
Think about it:
What words of blessing have they decreed for you that changed your life?
What words of blessing have you released for your children and future generations?
