MAY MY FUTURE GENERATIONS SAY THIS
Lord, help me live in such a way that my daughters and future generations can say this about Dinora and I:
My ancestors Guillermo and Dinora…
1. Trusted in God. Their God was not money, or fame, or material possessions, or fleeting things, but God.
For them, material and temporal things were only means to achieve eternal goals.
2. They went through difficulties in life, but you always rescued them, they got ahead and walked in success. Our ancestors trusted in you, and you rescued them.. (Psalms 22:4 NLT)
3. My ancestors Guillermo and Dinora cried out to you, and you saved them and guided them along paths of justice and blessing. They cried out to you and were saved. They trusted in you and were never disgraced. (Psalms 22:5 NLT)
4. My ancestors Guillermo and Dinora were not ashamed. Were there challenges? Yes. But they were not ashamed.
You asked them to do things by faith that didn’t make sense, but they trusted you and weren’t ashamed.
You made them the head and not the tail, they were blessed when they came in and went out, in the city and in the country.
They always stood out in all places and in all circumstances because your blessing rested on them. They were not ashamed. They trusted in you and were never ashamed. (Psalms 22:5 NLT)
Think about it:
Are you living in such a way that your children or future generations will be able to say this about you?
Is all your trust in God?
What has God rescued you from?
