Don’t kill the child

DON’T KILL THE CHILD

Then the king said, “Do not kill the child, but give him to the woman who wants him to live, for she is his mother!”(1 Kings 3:27 NLT)

The child represents the vision given by God for our life; it could represent a marriage, ministry, a business. etc.

1. We must take care of what God has given us. We should not let our dreams die.

2. Give it to the person who loves them

Then the king said, “Do not kill the child, but give him to the woman who wants him to live, for she is his mother!”. (1 Kings 3:27 NLT)

People don’t love what doesn’t cost them. Usually, we take care of what we have invested our time, money and effort, etc.
When something costs us then we tend to take care of it, love it, cultivate it, etc.
The people who have sacrificed resources to build our temple tend to take care of the building.
Those who have paid the price to see a flourishing ministry do not criticize the miracles, but we operate in miracles.

3. Those who don’t take care of the talents that God has commissioned them, will be removed from them and will be given to those who care for them and multiply them.

Then the king said, “Do not kill the child, but give him to the woman who wants him to live, for she is his mother!”(1 Kings 3:27 NLT)

Think about it:

What has God given you?
Do you value and love what God has given you and trusted you with?
What are you doing to take care of it and multiply it?
