Patience, faith and answer

PATIENCE, FAITH AND ANSWER

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1)

I see three things in this passage:

1. Patience: “I waited patiently…” Patience tells me about the ability to endure difficulties without losing joy. Patience helps me stay focused on my mission in life without making my heart bitter because of the obstacles.

2. Expect something good. I would like to say this word is more like “expecting” something good. “I patiently waited for the Lord”.
First, I activate patience to avoid losing joy in the midst of the problems; second, I am praying and working with “expectation” for good results, that is, expecting that I have received the answer to my prayers. (faith).

3. Heard. Answer
The result was that God heard his cry. I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1 NTV)
The word “heard”, in this context means “answered’.
It’s more than hearing about the need and doing nothing about it. It is not listening  and ignoring the petition. It means that God has answered our petition.

Patience, faith and answer!

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1)

Think about it:

Have you been joyfully waiting on God or have you become discouraged?
What have you faithfully been waiting for from God?
What answer have you received previously in your favor?
