WATCHING YOUR TONGUE ELONGATES YOUR LIFE
Part 2
There are three things that lengthen life and give prosperity according to this biblical passage. Yesterday we talked about the first, that we must take care of our language and pay more attention to the words we speak.
The second thing is:
2.Don’t speak badly. Then keep your tongue from speaking evil…
Sometimes we tend to spend the day criticizing life, complaining about how expensive everything is, the bad neighbors we have had, we complain about the rude people at the store or at the doctor’s office, etc.
Our expressions feed the way we see others.
If I think and say: “I feel like things are gonna go wrong with my supervisor today.” then, most likely that happens during the day.
But if we say, “I feel that this will be a good day, that the blessing of God has reached me,” then surely it will be a successful day.
Lord, I declare that wherever I go today favor, courtesy, kindness and support will be extended to me in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
