Negative voices

NEGATIVE VOICES

Don’t let him fool you into trusting in the LORD by saying, ‘The LORD will surely rescue us. This city will never fall into the hands of the Assyrian king!’ (2 Kings 18:30 NLT)

The enemy was trying to make the people doubt.
Today we may also battle voices in our minds that try to weaken or destroy our trust in God.

We must be careful not to feed the self-destructive internal dialogue that leads to doubt and distrust, which tells you: “you can’t, this is why you are not going to get up, your time is up, you are no longer useful, you have low self-esteem, etc.”

But the people were silent and did not utter a word because Hezekiah had commanded them, “Do not answer him.”..(2 Kings 18:36 NLT)

I will not feed these negative conversations.
I am an individual with a purpose, I refuse to be distracted by insignificant things or people. I am what God says that I am, and I can do what God says I can do.

Don’t let him fool you into trusting in the LORD by saying, ‘The LORD will surely rescue us. This city will never fall into the hands of the Assyrian king!’ (2 Kings 18:30 NLT)

Think about it:
What voices in your mind are trying to weaken your faith?
Have you been distracted by negative comments from other people?
Have you stood firm in your convictions and your purpose despite the negativity of others?
