That The Fruit Of My Labor Doesn’t Go To Waste

THAT THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR  DOESN’T GO TO WASTE

Lord, give me wisdom so I can see that my work continues through my legacy. Don’t let it end when my days in this temporary body are over.

May the message of salvation in Christ that I have preached continue in my future generations.

The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars in front of the Lord’s Temple, the bronze water carts, and the great bronze basin called the Sea, and they carried all the bronze away to Babylon.(2 Kings 25:13 NLT)

These are the things that Solomon had done during his reign in the temple that he built for the Lord. After he died, an enemy king came and destroyed everything he had done and stole the riches of the temple.

We should prepare our following generations to preserve what we have achieved and take it to a higher level.

Teach your children what you have learned in your spiritual life.

Teach them the values that you know will bless your descendants for years to come.

Teach them to manage money well.

Teach them to avoid the debt and credit card trap.

Show them the value of service and adding value to other people.

Inspire them with the value of the golden rule, of respecting and treating others as they want to be respected and treated.

Teach them the Law of sowing and reaping. Etc.

Don’t let your legacy get lost.

Think about it:

How are you preparing your future generations to continue what you started?

What values have you taught your children?

What biblical principles have you taught your children to put into practice?
