Excellence under the direction of his father

EXCELLENCE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF HIS FATHER

All these men were under the direction of their fathers as they made music at the house of the Lord. Their responsibilities included the playing of cymbals, harps, and lyres at the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman reported directly to the king
(1 Chronicles 25:6 NLT)

1. What happiness this man must have felt in seeing all of his children serving the Lord in the temple!
He didn’t care that they were in danger in the street, or if they were with bad friends, or on drugs.
He was a happy and peaceful father serving God with his family.

2.Excelence. (OUR VALUE #5)
Apparently, they were very good at what they did. They weren’t mediocre or average, they were excellent.

They and their families were all trained in making music before the Lord, and each of them—288 in all—was an accomplished musician. (1 Chron. 25:7 NLT)

“Lord, I declare that Dinora and I, my daughters and our future generations excel in everything we do, at work, in ministry, in business, in all places, in all circumstances, and at all times; In the name of Jesus, amen”.

Think about it:

Are you being an example of service to God so that your children serve in the same way?
Can you sleep peacefully knowing that your children live in fear of God?
Are you teaching your children to do everything with excellence?
