Rejoice, you are not barren

REJOICE, YOU ARE NOT BARREN

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into a loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children  than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the Lord.(Isaiah 54:1 NLT)

Rejoice sterile? How can someone who felt like a failure sing with joy?

Seeing by faith.
1. Rejoice. Rejoice even if you feel like you’ve been stuck. Enjoy believing in the promises of God.
“Sing, O childless woman(Isaiah 54:1 NLT)

2. Rejoice before the apparent sterility.

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth (Isaiah 54:1 NLT)

Even though it seemed like nothing was going right for you, that nothing you did was successful, rejoice!

How do I rejoice in apparent sterility or scarcity?
-Looking for faith.
Using the eyes of faith to see the fulfillment of God’s promises.

Speaking by faith
I must train my mouth to declare the promises of God.
I must speak what God speaks,
I must express myself in harmony with the word of God.

Singing songs. I must sing songs that speak about my bright future based on the word of God.  Break into a loud and joyful song, … (Isaiah 54:1 NLT)

“Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into a loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children  than the woman who lives with her husband,” says the Lord.(Isaiah 54:1 NLT)

Think about it:

Had you lost your joy?
Do you look with the eyes of faith at what is to come?
Are your words aligned with God’s promise?
