Stop at the crossroads – Part 3

STOP AT THE CROSSROADS
Part 3

This is what the Lord says: Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’ (Jeremiah 6:16 NLT)

3. Ask.
..Ask for the old, godly way... (Jeremiah 6:16 NLT)

– This talks to me about consulting God about what He wants with my life, what are his plans and His purpose for me at this time.

Yesterday already passed, this is a new season, and I have to be able to discern the prophetic movements in the spiritual atmosphere to be able to understand what is happening on earth and what is convenient to be doing in this time.

– It is convenient to consult with wise people. We all need a mentor. We can all benefit from the experience and maturity of other people.

-Ask the Bible:
I can live based on “what others think”, “what I think”, or “what God thinks” in other words what the Bible says.

There are people that look for answers through warlocks, in the tarot cards and the crystal ball. But we have to ask God.

This is what the Lord says: Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls. But you reply, ‘No, that’s not the road we want!’ (Jeremiah 6:16 NLT)

Think about it:

What questions do you have for God?
Do you consult with God before making a decision?
Do you make sure that what you will do is under His will?
Who do you seek advice from?
