No one was sorry

NO ONE WAS SORRY

No one was sorry when he died. They buried him in the City of David, but not in the royal cemetery. (2 Chronicles 21:20… NLT)

1. No one was sorry when he died.
How sad it is to die and that nobody cares about your death! But it is equally tragic to be living without purpose in this world, adrift and without being a blessing to anyone.

-There are people who when they die are only remembered, but others are very surprised because things are not the same without them.
-There are bad individuals who when they die then people rejoice, but there are others who when they die the people cry, because the city or the church has lost a hero, a leader, someone who enriched their community.

2. They buried him in a common grave.

They buried him in the City of David, but not in the royal cemetery. (2 Chronicles 21:20… NLT)

Some people are buried with honors, like kings, for being a blessing to this world; because they have changed lives, schools, workplaces, churches, etc.

Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. No one was sorry when he died. They buried him in the City of David, but not in the royal cemetery. (2 Chronicles 21:20 NLT)

Lord, help me to live in perfect harmony with your original plan and purpose for me, so that my life is not wasted, but is a blessing to many people.

Think about it:
Do you think that when you are gone you will be remembered or missed?
In what ways are you trying to be a blessing to others and enrich your community?
How has God changed your life? What could you do to help God change the lives of others?
