(Jeremiah 35:8 NLT)
1. The test.
The Rechabites (descendants of Rechab) had received instructions from their ancestors not to drink wine, and one day they were tested by God through prophet Jeremiah to see if they would obey:
I set cups and jugs of wine before them and invited them to have a drink, but they refused…(Jeremiah 35:5-6 NLT)
2. Generational convictions.

To be continued…
Think about it:
What indications did your ancestors leave you?
What convictions are you leaving to your future generations?
Have you stood firm in your convictions when trials come?
