“Weapons” in the hands of God

“WEAPONS” IN THE HANDS OF GOD

«“You are my battle-ax and sword,”Says the Lord.
“With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms.(Jeremiah 51:20 NLT)

We can be weapons in the hands of God.
We are not talking about physical violence, but about spiritual warfare. We are not referring to physical aggression, but in spirit.

This world is under attack by the spiritual powers of evil that are causing suffering in the world: Wars, terrorism, division, and violence in the city, gangs, robberies, divorces, and more.
But we, the church of Christ, have the power and authority through prayer to pull back the kingdom from darkness. We are weapons of God.

«“You are my battle-axe and sword,”says the Lord. “With you I will shatter nations and destroy many kingdoms.(Jeremiah 51:20 NLT )

1. We have authority and dominion in the name of Jesus Christ. (Luke 10:19)
2. Our fight is not against humans. (Eph. 6:12).
3. Our weapons are spiritual, not carnal. It’s not with a sword but with his spirit. (Zec. 4: 6)
3. Our weapons are powerful to destroy the plans of darkness:

We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient. (2 Cor. 10:4-6 NLT)

Think about it:

Did you know that as a child of God you had spiritual weapons to destroy the plans of darkness?
How are you using them?
What strength, obstacle or argument do you need to break down by means of those spiritual weapons.
