IT’S NOT ABOUT ME

You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake. (2 Corinthians 4:5 NLT)

I have to be careful that my pride doesn’t grow thinking that success is about becoming someone famous.
It’s not about me, it’s all about making Jesus famous, making Him known to the whole world.
I remember the donkey that carried Jesus:

When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. 8 Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields.. (Mark 11:7-8 NIV)

Surely the little donkey saw that the people were shouting and laying blankets on the ground for him to walk on, but it was nothing for him it was for the one he was carrying: Our Lord Jesus! We are the only ones who carry Jesus Christ.

We are servants of God for the benefit of people.

All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.(2 Corinthians 4:15 NLT)

My goal is that many people are reached for God, that many more marriages, young people and adults are restored. This will result in abundant thanksgiving and God will receive more glory.
