Stones are not an excuse

STONES ARE NOT AN EXCUSE

In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalms 91:2 (NKJV)

In our life we will always find stones along the way. What do we do with those stones?

The little ones, get them out of the way.
Have fun giving them a little kick or shoot the target with your hand.

The medium ones, use them as steps to grow.
Raise the bar in English. Learn. Say: I won’t lose another opportunity because of my lack of English.

The big ones, use them to construct something of benefit.
Your character, your leadership, your emotions.

The giant ones, climb them.
To ascend to new spiritual, financial, etc. dimensions.
New dimension of revelation.
Greater sensitivity.
More empathy and understanding for others.

Conclusion: How do we do it? Eyes on Jesus.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up…We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith….(Hebrews `12:1-2 NLT)

Think about it

What kind of stones are you dealing with right now?
What are you going to do with them?
How have the stones in your life helped you grow?
Are your eyes on Jesus?
