Offerings without excuses

OFFERINGS WITHOUT EXCUSES

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. (2 Corinthians 9:7 NLT)

1. Offerings are planned, and it is decided how much will be given.   You must each decide in your heart how much to give…  (2 Corinthians 9:7 NLT)

2. Offerings are voluntary. …to make sure the gift you promised is ready. But I want it to be a willing gift, not one given grudgingly. (2 Corinthians 9:5 NLT)

3. Offerings must produce joy.
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. (2 Corinthians 9:7 NLT)

4. Must be proportional.
to make sure the gift you promised is ready. But I want it to be a willing gift, not one given grudgingly. (1 Corinthians 16:2 NKJV)

We give according to our capacity and how much we have prospered. “It’s not the same amount but the same sacrifice.”

Think about it:
What is produced in you when you give God offerings?
Has God prospered you?
Do you give your offerings according to how God has prospered you?
