FOR YOU TO KNOW HIS WILL
Part 1
God wants his will know to us. The question would be: Do I want to know his will?
Paul was reached by God, and we see several things in this passage:
1. God chooses us. “The God of our ancestors has chosen you… (Acts 22:14). At school, the team coach doesn’t choose you, at work, the supervisor doesn’t choose you, but God chooses you.
2. It’s not a coincidence nor an accident, but purpose. “TO”. “The God of our ancestors has chosen you to… (Acts 22:14)
What is the purpose of my life? What are my gifts? What is my niche?
3.Know HIS WILL.» … to know his will and see the Righteous One and hear him speak. (Acts 22:14)
“I take joy in doing your will, my God” Psalms 40:8
“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God”. Psalms 143:10
4. See and hear God. » … so that you might see the righteous and hear him speak.
When my desire is to know and do his will, then I begin to see and hear God in different ways, it becomes easier for me to perceive him. I understand the bible easier. My spiritual senses sharpen. I see God working in the small details. I see dreams and visions, etc.
Think about it:
Do you want to learn what is the purpose for which God brought you to this earth, or do you just want to live clinging to your selfish and human desires?
What are your gifts and your niche?
Would you like to perceive God with more clarity?
