Holiness enables me to possess my inheritance

HOLINESS ENABLES ME TO POSSESS MY INHERITANCE

»Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. (Acts 20:32 NIV)

This prayer does 4 interesting things:

1. Entrust us to GOD. »Now I entrust you to God… (Acts 20:32 NLT)
There is no person or place safer than God. Nowhere else is there more blessing than in God.

2. Entrust us to his GRACE »Now I entrust you to God and to the message of his grace … (Acts 20:32 NTV)
His grace enables me to be or do what I can’t humanly be or do.
While his mercy delivers me from the punishment I deserve and by his grace he gives me the inheritance and rewards I do not deserve.

3. Commends us to His WORD So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of his grace… (Acts. 20:32 NKJV)
His Word gives me direction.
His Word cleanses me of toxic emotions
His Word purifies me from toxic thoughts.

4.His Word EDIFIES me. »And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace, that is able to build you up… (Acts 20:32 NLT)
God does not destroy, He builds. Words can destroy or build.

5. God gives me an INHERITANCE with those who are sanctified. »..And give you an INHERITANCE with all those he has set apart (SANCTIFIED)for himself. (Acts 20:32 NLT)
In order to possess my inheritance on this Earth I must restore my HOLINESS.
The inheritance is for those of us who are cut off, set apart and separated SANCTIFIED) for God’s purpose.

So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you an INHERITANCE among all those who are SANCTIFIED. (Acts 20:32 NKJV)

Do you live in holiness for God?
