PUT ORDER WHILE YOUR ALIVE
About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave the king this message: “This is what the Lord says: ‘Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You will not recover from this illness.’” (Isaiah 38:1 NLT)
I believe that it’s not necessary to wait until I am about to die to put my house in order.
I believe that we need to have order in our lives at all times.
Lord help me to continually be a good steward of all the resources you have entrusted to me while I live in this body.
- I must be wise in managing things such as:
- My family,
- my ministry,
- My friends,
- My time, (in which I invest each day, the week, the year)
- The Lord’s money. How I use my money says a lot about what my priorities are in this life.
- What does my bank statement show about the use of the money?
- Does it show that I am generous and faithful with my tithes and offerings?
- Does it reflect that I have savings or debt?
- Does it show that I use a budget, or that I am disorganized and wasted?
- My health,
- My strength and daily energy,
- the anointing,
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15 NKJV)
Think about it:
Do you consider yourself a good steward in all that God has entrusted to you?
In which area do you have everything in order?
In what area do you need to put order immediately and what will you do to achieve it?
