Rights can change hands

RIGHTS CAN CHANGE HANDS

The oldest son of Israel was Reuben. But since he dishonored his father by sleeping with one of his father ‘s concubines, his birthright was given to the sons of his brother Joseph. For this reason, Reuben is not listed in the genealogical records as the first born son. (1 Chronicles 5:1 NTV)

Here I can see two things in this passage:
The first part is negative, because I can lose the blessings and inheritance because of disobedience and sin.
The second one is positive, and it is because of my obedience I can win inheritance and the blessing that someone else was entitled to.
The bad administrator will often lose the little that was entrusted to him, the good administrator will always be given what others lose; the diligent will always have more.

Then he ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of  silver. To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. (Mat 25:28-29 NLT)

Lord, give the grace to keep me away from sinning against you, knowingly, willingly, and deliberately.
I want to value, appreciate, and keep the blessings that you have entrusted to me on this Earth, and I do not want to lose them because of a deliberate act of rebellion on my part.
Lord, I also pray that you have the trust to give me and entrust me with the inheritances that others have despised, the anointing, miracles, signs, wonders, finances, true riches, souls, and disciples, etc.

Think about it:
Are you living in obedience or disobedience to God?
Have  you lost something that has been entrusted to you or have you multiplied it?
Do you appreciate the blessings that God has given you or have you despised them?
