Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.(Isaiah 60:1-2 NKJV)

Although there is much darkness in this world, in me people will see light.
Although the economy looks very difficult on earth, I will lack nothing.

The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.. (Psalms 23:1).

Although there is much hatred in society, I will be a river of God’s love.
Although there is talk of wars and social darkness, I believe that the best is yet to come for the church of Christ.
Although society looks dark, I am light in this world.

Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” (John 8:12 NLT)

“Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you.2 Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth,but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you.(Isaiah 60:1-2 NLT)

What do people see in you?
Is God your Shepherd and do you follow him?
How do you show God’s love to others?
