CLEVER FOOLS
Can someone be intelligent and foolish at the same time?
We can use intelligence in two ways: To do what is right or to do what is wrong.
It’s not enough to be intelligent.
The foolish use intelligence to do what is wrong, and the wise use it to do what is right.
I wonder how different the world would be if the millions of criminals who use their intelligence to steal, scam, and cheat, if they would use it to develop medicines, new technology, arts, to write books, to create new computer programs and new apps, new businesses, etc.
I can imagine how different the lives of these people would be!
They would be living a wealthy life, in a mansion, and not in a small cell or living in scarce.
They would be famous in society and much appreciated for their contributions to the world, instead of being despised and known for their crimes.
Lord, I don’t want to be a clever fool, show me how to use the intelligence that you have given me today so that I can be a blessing to someone, to improve my society, to edify the church, and to bring forth the light of your purposes here on earth.
Think about it:
Do you use the intelligence that God has given you to do what is right or wrong?
What can you do to contribute something good to your society?
Who can you bless this week and in what way?
