GOD IS READY TO RESPOND
BUT NO ONE ASKS FOR HELP
(Isaiah 65:1-2 NLT)
What a shame that as human beings we are trying to first solve our problems in our own strength and intelligence instead of first seeking God. We are in a modern society in where God is being excluded from human beings. We tend to only use our logic, reason, and our nature and we forget that God is supernatural. God can supernaturally do more in one hour of a miracle service than we could possibly do in 5 years of psychotherapy and medicine.
Just to make it clear., medicine is not bad, and we should use it, but our first option must always be God.
In three days of power retreat, God can restore a marriage and do what years of marriage counseling couldn’t by healing the heart of the marriage.
Young people bring weapons to schools and the government doesn’t know how to control them. Could have anything to do with the fact that we told God that we didn’t want him in our schools, and we removed prayer from the classroom and removed the Bible from our government institutions.
Let’s put God first in schools. Let’s put the fear of God first in the heart of the young people and in our hearts. Let’s not put him last.
I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me.I said, ‘Here I am, here I am!’to a nation that did not call on my name.2 All day long I opened my arms to rebellious people. But they follow their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes. (Isaiah 65:1-2 NLT)
God is ready to answer, we just need to ask for help and also open our arms and hearts to Him.
Think about it:
What is the first thing you do when you are in trouble?
What are you trying to solve in your own strength?
Have you asked God for help? Have you opened and given your heart to Him?
