What was pleasing before God

WHAT WAS PLEASING BEFORE GOD

Asa did what was pleasing and good in the sight of the Lord his God.
(2 Chronicles 14:2 NLT)

Lord, on this day as I read my Bible, my prayer is that you will also help me, like King Asa, to do what is pleasing and good in your eyes.
I find that I live in a system in society that puts pressure on me, that tempts me to be unjust by trying to be successful like everyone else.
But I am very clear that I do not need to do what is bad, unjust, or dishonest in order to be successful on earth.

“The Lord’s blessing enriches, and he adds no painful effort to it…” (Prov. 10:22)

The inclination of mediocre leaders is the thirst for power for personal gain.
I want to be different. It’s not about me, it’s about you. It’s not about my plans, it’s about yours.

Doing what is good and pleasing before your eyes is not easy, sometimes it’s not going to be very popular, but I’m more interested in having your approval over
the approval of human beings.
I declare that my name will be associated with integrity, holiness, success, anointing, love, joy, peace, patience, faith, goodness, self-control, abundance, spiritual riches and materials, honesty, vision, justice, blessing, and success in our Spiritual, familial, social, and financial life.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. (Psalms 143:10 NLT).

Asa did what was pleasing and good in the sight of the Lord his God.
(2 Chronicles 14:2 NLT)

Think about it:
Are you doing what is pleasing in God’s eyes?
Are you more interested in having the approval of people or of God?
What is your name associated with?
